Government Tests Supersonic Missile

India successfully test-fired a supersonic cruise missile capable of hitting major cities in Pakistan. Islamabad denounced the move as a sign of New Delhi’s “massive militarization.”
It was the third successful launch of the Brahmos, which has a range of about 180 miles, flies at 1,400 mph and has a payload of 440 pounds. It cannot carry a nuclear warhead.
