Diana Taurasi scored 14 points during a decisive 30-4 run as top-ranked Connecticut (25-0, 12-0 Big East) extended its women’s NCAA-record winning streak to 64 games with a 81-60 victory over Miami (14-9, 6-6) Wednesday night at Coral Gables, Fla. The Huskies hold the women’s record for consecutive wins and is 24 victories shy of tying the men’s record of 88 set by UCLA from 1971-74.
