A court in Casablanca, Morocco, sentenced three Saudi Arabians to 10 years in prison for leading an unsuccessful Al Qaeda plot to attack U.S. and British warships.

Zouhair Hilal Tabiti, 26, Hilal Jaber Assiri, 31, and Abdellah Msafer Ghamidi, 22, were arrested May 12 in what prosecutors called a plot to attack ships in the Strait of Gibraltar by using a dinghy loaded with explosives. A similar plan was carried out in October 2000 against the U.S. destroyer Cole in Yemen.
