Islamic Terror
Re “They Had a Commitment to Yemen, Despite Danger” (Dec. 31), on the missionaries killed in Yemen: It is sad to read, once again, of the death of innocent people because of fundamentalist Islamic terrorism. Many Muslims continue to call their religion one of peace. Sadly, this obfuscation is not borne out in the headlines we so often read.
It is strikingly clear that the missionaries were in Yemen out of love, to openly serve those in need, to help--and they were killed in deceit and hate. Until the worldwide Muslim community unilaterally condemns this fundamentalist-based terrorism, any claim as a religion of peace is false.
