Networks add morning personnel

NBC, CBS and ABC have all announced additions to their morning news programs.

Melissa Stark has been named national correspondent for NBC’s “Today,” effective immediately. In addition to her “Today” duties, Stark, the former lead sideline reporter for ABC’s “Monday Night Football,” will help with the network’s Olympic coverage next summer in Athens, Greece and other key NBC Sports events.

Dave Price, weatherman for Fox-owned and -operated WNYW in New York, will join CBS’ “The Early Show” as a weatherman and featured reporter. Price will also work with King World Productions to develop on-air programming opportunities and will appear on some of the company’s existing programs.

Kate Snow has been named White House correspondent of ABC’s “Good Morning America,” joining chief White House correspondent Terry Moran. Snow was a congressional correspondent for CNN.
