Homeless Victim
Re “Suddenly, They Were Gone,” July 18: As the mother of a homeless man, I thank Geoffrey Mohan and the Times staff writers for their stories on each of the victims of the Santa Monica Farmers’ Market crash. Too often, the media fail to remember that homeless men and women are people too -- some mother’s son or daughter. Your respectful reporting about Leroy Lattier will ease some of his mother’s pain, as well as mine.
