Easier Said Than Done
Re “Russia Steps Up Pressure on Iran,” May 28: Isn’t Washington’s demand that Iran halt Al Qaeda terrorist activities within its borders akin to a demand from Washington that Southern California cities halt gang violence? It reads well in print but gives the illusion that these other government entities can somehow stop the evildoers simply because Washington has demanded that they do so.
