Former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland pleaded innocent Monday to drug charges and said he would again enter a rehabilitation program to try to kick persistent heroin and cocaine habits, court officials said.

Weiland, 35, was arrested on suspicion of drug possession during a routine traffic stop on May 17 in Burbank, after police allegedly spotted drug paraphernalia inside the car in which he was riding. He and the driver of the car, 29-year-old Jennifer Lynn Sires, were later charged with cocaine and heroin possession and released on $10,000 bail.

The same charges sent Weiland to prison in 1999.
