A Bosnian Serb changed his plea to guilty at a U.N. war crimes tribunal, 19 months after he was arrested with his brother.

Predrag Banovic pleaded guilty to one count of crimes against humanity, punishable by up to life in prison. Prosecutors dropped four other war crimes counts. Banovic’s twin, Nenad, was released last year due to insufficient evidence.

The brothers were indicted in 1995 with 10 others in connection with crimes at the Keraterm prison camp in Bosnia-Herzegovina, where Muslim and Croat detainees were beaten and starved or shot to death in 1992.
