Man Convicted in Killing of Four Baby Raccoons

A man who beat to death four baby raccoons was convicted of misdemeanor animal cruelty.
John Robert Brady, 55, of Downey could face up to a year in jail. Brady, who used a stick and golf club to kill the raccoons in May, said he struck the animals after they scratched him when he tried to grab them in his attic.
