Guerrillas Deny Role in Deadly Bogota Blast

Colombia’s largest rebel group denied planting a bomb that killed 36 people at an exclusive Bogota club last month, and accused pro-government forces of launching the attack to build support for anti-terror laws.
In a statement, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, said it had determined after a “rigorous and earnest investigation” that none of its members were involved in the attack on Club El Nogal. The government reiterated that the FARC was responsible.
