Female Friend Debuts in ’03 Against Males

Never worse than third in five starts as a 2-year-old, Female Friend will make her first start of 2003 in tonight’s sixth race, a $12,250 allowance at 350 yards.

Owned and bred by Ed Allred and trained by Kelly Lewis, the daughter of Takin On The is the lone filly against four colts and geldings.

She will break from the outside under jockey Sam Thompson.
