ImPath to Cut Jobs, Close Cypress Facility

ImPath Inc., which analyzes cancer tests, will eliminate about 80 jobs and close its facility in Cypress on May 13 to cut costs.

ImPath announced the cuts in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company employed 1,200 people as of Dec. 31.

The company, which analyzes tumor biopsies to help diagnose cancer and predict outcomes, said it would transfer some of the Cypress services to its Los Angeles lab.
