Blast Victim’s Possible Bin Laden Link Probed

A Saudi man killed in a blast at a house in the capital, Riyadh, was under investigation for suspected links to Osama bin Laden’s terrorist network, the Interior Ministry said. Security officials believe that the man -- identified as 30-year-old Fahd bin Samran bin Amir al-Saedi -- was preparing a bomb that exploded prematurely Tuesday.
He had a record and is believed to have trained with Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, the official Saudi Press Agency quoted the ministry as saying.
