A Peruvian court sentenced former spy master Vladimiro Montesinos to five years on charges he arranged illegal favors for his former lover’s family.
Montesinos, accused of masterminding a giant corruption ring under ex-President Alberto Fujimori, said he “reserved the right” to appeal.
