Felony Charges Lifted for Antiwar Protesters

Dist. Atty. Terence Hallinan has dropped or reduced charges against all 12 demonstrators arrested on felony counts during last week’s antiwar protests.
Seven people had felony charges reduced to misdemeanors, and charges were dropped against the other five, said Mark MacNamara, the district attorney’s spokesman.
