Lying could be perceived as more than just a character flaw in Mount Sterling, Iowa. It could become a crime.
Acting Mayor Jo Hamlet has proposed an ordinance against fibbing.
“People shooting 16-pound geese and catching 9-pound bass,” Hamlet said. “We wanted to slow down on this lying.”
