After His 1,000th Quarter Horse Victory, Bautista Is Back for More

Jockey Alex Bautista, who made history on Thursday, has four chances to add to his victory total during tonight’s eight-race program.

Aboard favored Live Withit Willie in Thursday’s final race, Bautista became the 12th jockey to win 1,000 quarter horse races at Los Alamitos.

This evening, Bautista will ride quarter horses Yurmans Secret in the second, Im A Pritzi Boy in the sixth and Miss Miss Kipty Yawl in the seventh and the thoroughbred Facts Related in the third.

Owned by Jaime Gomez and trained by Carlos Lopez, Miss Kipty Yawl will be stretching out to 300 yards after missing by a nose to Royal Classic Cat going 220 yards on March 2.
