2 Former Regulators Join Adelphia Board

Adelphia Communications Corp. named two former regulators to its board, bringing to four the number of new outside board members since the cable operator filed for bankruptcy protection last year under a cloud of scandal.
The company said it named Philip Lochner, a former chief administration officer at Time Warner Inc. and a former member of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Susan Ness, a member of the Federal Communications Commission from 1994 to 2001.
