Academy Honors UCI Distinguished Professor

A UC Irvine professor has been elected a 2003 fellow by the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Elizabeth Loftus, a UC Irvine Distinguished Professor of Social Ecology, was selected along with more than 200 others.
The fellows, recognized for having made preeminent contributions to their disciplines, include U.N. Secretary-Gen. Kofi Annan and broadcaster Walter Cronkite.
Loftus is ranked by the Review of General Psychology among the 100 most eminent psychologists of the 20th century.
