Threat of Jail Time Would Set Execs Straight
A steady parade of CEOs and their staff have been found dipping deeply into company tills to the tune of millions of dollars (“Wanted: Executives Worthy of Respect,” James Flanigan, May 4). The only justice to date has been that of fines levied on these executives. Ironically, they can afford to pay these fines from ill-gotten gains and still have millions remaining.
The one thing that would help correct this corporate disease would be jail time in addition to their forfeiting all their gains.
That would definitely get their attention.
That would be justice.
