Tourist Chief Suspended Over Strip Club Event

The chief of the Denver area’s tourism bureau has been suspended after a television news report that he hosted an event for members of the bureau at a strip club.
Eugene Dilbeck, who has led the Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau for 10 years, was put on paid administrative leave.
Elbra Wedgeworth, City Council president, said she believed that the Diamond Cabaret strip club, which is also a convention bureau member, sponsored what is known as an “after-hour program.”
She did not attend.
