Perahia’s performance

I was disappointed that Chris Pasles saw fit to devote a mere half sentence to Murray Perahia’s remarkable playing of Beethoven’s First Piano Concerto (“St. Martin’s Sounds Out the Hall,” Oct. 30). Pasles’ review didn’t do justice to either Perahia’s pianistic skills or his fine conducting, nor his ability to do both at once, seamlessly, during Beethoven’s First Piano Concerto and Bach’s Fifth “Brandenburg” Concerto.
