Thousand Oaks school -- An article in some editions of Sunday’s California section incorrectly called Aspen School a middle school. It is an elementary school. In addition, the article said a man had exposed himself near the school. In fact, the incident occurred about a mile from Aspen, school officials said.

Whitehead was jailed in lieu of $500,000 bail for allegedly kidnapping the girl Tuesday as she walked on Erbes Road in Thousand Oaks.
