Slain U.N. Refugee Worker Is Buried
From Times Wire Reports
The body of a young French United Nations refugee worker was laid to rest in a British cemetery in the Afghan capital, Kabul, days after she was gunned down by suspected Taliban rebels.
The service was attended by the family of Bettina Goislard, colleagues and representatives of the Afghan government and several embassies.
Goislard, 29, had told colleagues that she wished to be buried in Afghanistan if she were to die there.
