Update -- The Sparks have never lost four straight games to a Western Conference opponent in the same season, and that includes Houston when the Comets were the WNBA’s dominant team. But that’s what Sacramento can accomplish with a victory today. More important, a win puts the Monarchs into the WNBA finals. Although the Sparks have two games at home, Coach Michael Cooper warned his team not to get ahead of itself. “We did this against Minnesota and now we’re going back to focus on [today’s] game,” Cooper said.
