Taliban Suspected of Killing 4 Aid Workers
From Times Wire Reports
Suspected Taliban rebels on motorcycles stopped a car filled with aid workers, tied them up and executed four of them by the side of the road in southeastern Afghanistan, officials said.
The slain workers, Afghans employed by the Danish Committee for Aid to Afghan Refugees, were killed Monday in the Mokur district of Ghazni province, Gov. Haji Asadullah said.
Gorm Pedersen, the aid agency’s director in Kabul, the capital, said a fifth worker who was wounded told authorities what happened.
