Ex-Convict Arrested in Killings of 3 Sisters
A former convict was arrested on a capital murder charge after his teenage ex-girlfriend told Houston police he shot her, her mother and her three younger sisters, killing the three youngest girls.
The victims’ relatives said 35-year-old Anthony Quinn Francois had resisted 16-year-old Shamika Patterson’s attempts to break up with him.
The five were shot while most of the family was sleeping in their home in southeast Houston.
Shamika Patterson and her mother, 34-year-old Sheila Patterson, survived. Her sisters -- ages 15, 11 and 10 -- died.
