Grand Canyon Crash Kills 7
A helicopter crashed Saturday near the Grand Canyon, killing all seven people on board.
The chopper crashed after departing from Grand Canyon West Airport, said Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Diana Joubert.
The helicopter was flying toward the bottom of the canyon when it crashed, she said. The victims were not identified.
The Arizona Republic reported on its Web site that the helicopter was owned by a Las Vegas-based tour operator.
The National Transportation Safety Board was investigating the accident.
