The NRA-ACLU Nexus

As a thinking Democrat influenced by JFK’s vision of government actually benefiting Americans, as opposed to the current liberal/socialist view of binding a citizen to big government by need, I will vote for anyone who advances personal responsibility and civil rights. That is also why I support the American Civil Liberties Union and belong to the nation’s oldest civil rights group, the National Rifle Assn. (April 13). Will I buy into the notion that leadership by Democrats would actually be good for gun owners? Not likely, since their actions speak louder than their words. Will I vote for President Bush again? Probably, since he will be the lesser of two evils.
