Spanish police arrested a Saudi citizen, an Egyptian and a Moroccan on suspicion of being linked to suspects in the March 11 rail bombings, Interior Minister Angel Acebes said.
The arrests were made Thursday and Friday in Madrid. The suspects weren’t named.
Meanwhile, the judge handling the case, Juan del Olmo, freed six suspects arrested over the last week. The judge ruled there was insufficient evidence to link them to the attacks, which killed 191 people.
