Clouds Prompt Delay in Spacecraft Launch

Bad weather forced mission managers at Cape Canaveral to postpone launching NASA’s Messenger spacecraft toward the planet Mercury.
They scrubbed the launch because of storm clouds near the pad at a critical point in the countdown. The launch was rescheduled for today.
