Firm Gives $14.5 Million to San Diego State

Qualcomm is donating $14.5 million to San Diego State to establish an education institute, university and company officials announced Tuesday.
The gift from the San Diego-based wireless communications company is one of the largest in the university’s history, a spokeswoman said.
