Three Nations Agree to Disarm Rebel Groups

Uganda, Rwanda and Congo agreed to immediately disarm rebel groups who threaten peace and security in the region.
The agreement was signed after U.S.-sponsored talks in the Ugandan capital, Kampala.
Ugandan Defense Minister Amama Mbabazi said the rebel groups included the Interahamwe, the ethnic Hutu militia that fled into Congo after leading the Rwanda genocide in 1994.
