The ‘G’ in G-String May Stand for ‘Government’

The Canadian government said it was scrapping a program that handed out temporary work permits to foreign-born exotic dancers -- 660 of them last year. Immigration Minister Judy Sgro is facing calls to resign over granting a temporary residency permit to Alina Balaican, a Romanian stripper who had worked on Sgro’s election campaign. She also extended Balaican’s expired work permit.
Sgro denies wrongdoing.
