The Price of Victory

Re “Counties Bill State for Recall,” Feb. 8:

The Republicans threw a party and the counties got stuck with the tab. Send the bill to Rep. Darrell E. Issa (R-Vista). He paid for the army of signature-gatherers without whom there would have been no recall. He can afford to pick up the $43-million tab.
