HP Plans to Revamp Digital Camera Line
From Bloomberg News
Hewlett-Packard Co. plans to revamp its line of digital cameras, introducing eight models with special features.
One of the features will be the in-camera ability to remove red eye, a common problem with flash photography, Palo Alto-based Hewlett-Packard said. That feature is a first in the industry, the company said.
The new cameras also will allow users to combine as many as five photos into a panoramic picture inside the camera, Hewlett-Packard said.
Hewlett-Packard shares fell 93 cents to $22.91 on the NYSE.
