Campus Leaders Seek Ban on Visitor Parking

In an effort to clean up the Isla Vista party scene, some campus leaders want to ban weekend visitor parking at UC Santa Barbara. The plan is to bar anyone without a legitimate reason to be on the campus on Friday and Saturday from midnight to 4 a.m., supporters said. A system would be devised so cars belonging to students, staff and their guests would still be able to park.
