From Times Wire Reports

Homeless survivors of an earthquake that killed at least 565 people in northern Morocco blocked a main road to protest the lack of government aid.

As hopes dimmed of finding survivors in the rubble of mud-brick homes in villages surrounding Al Hoceima, dozens of people staged a sit-down protest on the road linking the Mediterranean port to the interior.

Emergency officials expected the death toll to rise.
