An Indonesian court convicted a man of storing explosives used to kill 12 people in the Aug. 5 bombing of the JW Marriott Hotel in Jakarta and sentenced him to 10 years in jail.

Sardona Siliwangi, 23, became the first person convicted in connection with the bombing.

He was found guilty of storing chemicals in April that were later used to make the bomb and allowing his home to be used for meetings to plan the attack.

The Al Qaeda-linked terrorist group Jemaah Islamiah has been blamed for the bombing.
