* Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. said it would begin broadcasting local traffic and weather information for Los Angeles and New York starting Sunday, a move likely to renew calls by traditional broadcasters to clamp down on the satellite radio industry.
* Alaska Air Group Inc., parent of Alaska Airlines, said its fourth-quarter net loss narrowed to $16.1 million, or 60 cents a share, after the company adjusted results to reflect the elimination of some frequent-flier accounts. Last month, Alaska Air reported a net loss of $20.8 million, or 78 cents, for the quarter. The adjusted sales were $613.3 million, up from $604.9 million.
* Coca-Cola Co. said it had received grand jury subpoenas as part of federal prosecutors’ 7 1/2-month accounting fraud investigation of the world’s largest beverage maker.
