Attackers Kill 4 Soldiers, Set Fire to 18 Schools

Unidentified assailants set fire to 18 schools and stormed a military camp, killing four soldiers, in nearly simultaneous raids in southern Thailand, military spokesman Lt. Gen. Phalangun Krahan said.
He said there were no reports of causalities in the school fires around the southern province of Narathiwat. But the assailants shot, stabbed or beat four soldiers fatally as they stole 103 rifles from a military camp.
