Typhoon Sets Off Floods, Leaves at Least 14 Dead

Typhoon Mindulle lashed Taiwan with heavy rain, triggering widespread flooding and killing at least 14 people before weakening to a tropical storm and heading toward southeastern China, officials said. Eight people were missing.
Mindulle hit the Philippines earlier last week, killing 23 people and forcing thousands from their homes.
