U.S. Cancels Local Fourth of July Plans

Terrorism fears in Bahrain have forced the cancellation of Fourth of July celebrations, the U.S. Embassy announced.
The statement came a day after the Pentagon said it was withdrawing service members’ families and nonessential personnel from Bahrain for at least 30 days in response to intelligence on planned attacks.
