Singer-songwriter Paul Anka, and his wife, Anne, have listed their home in a gated community above Beverly Hills at just under $6 million. They plan to buy a smaller home in the L.A. area.

Composer -- An item in last Sunday’s Hot Property column incorrectly credited Paul Anka with writing the song “My Way.” He wrote English lyrics for the original, French-language version of the song, “Comme d’Habitude.”

The Ankas’ previous home there was bulldozed in 2003 to make way for the entrance and parking lot of the MGM Grand hotel and theme park, which opened in December.
