Vessels Maturity Will Take Shape Tonight

Catchmeinyourdreams, whose wins last year included the Los Alamitos Championship and the California Challenge Championship, makes his first start of 2004 for trainer Christopher O’Dell in the first of two trials tonight for the Vessels Maturity.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will be back for the $400,000 final on Aug. 7.

In his 400-yard trial, Catchmeinyourdreams will be facing Deefirst, Mongoose Jet Eye and six others.

In the second trial, Sky Lane Pie will bid for his third consecutive win for trainer Juan Aleman against Chiarascuro, Rare Coup, Toasting My Dad, All American Jewel, Kelia Vista, Buccaneer Beach and Sum Special Strawfly.

Shots in the dark: Win For Him debuts for trainer John Cooper in the sixth. Mags Easy Rhythm, by Red Hot Rhythm, debuts for trainer Jesus Nunez in the 10th.
