Volunteers Rush Aid to Victims of Flooding

Relief volunteers tried to deliver food and medicine to tens of millions of Bangladeshis affected by monthlong floods that have killed at least 473 people in the delta nation and washed away rice crops and livestock.
Disaster management officials said the government would need help if the floods continue.
The death toll throughout South Asia from landslides, drowning, collapsing houses, disease and other perils linked to the rains stood at more than 1,350.
