New President Is Sworn In

Tony Saca, a sportscaster and business prodigy, was sworn in as El Salvador’s president, but the main opposition party boycotted the inauguration, demanding that the country pull its troops out of Iraq.
The new president has promised to continue the policies of departing President Francisco Flores, who built one of the most pro-U.S. administrations in the hemisphere.
