Tickle.com queries your inner being

Share

The days of keying into whether you’re an ISFP (Introvert, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving) or ESTJ (Extrovert, Sensing, Thinking, Judging) et al, are long gone. There’s a new kid in town -- tickle.com -- that taps into your inner core by providing “tests” that are almost as hard to pass up as a round of Truth or Dare at a sixth-grade slumber party.

Tickle.com provides insight into each visitor’s personality, career, relationships and health through addictive pop psychology questionnaires like “Which Umbrella Drink Are You?” and “Which ‘American Idol’ Are You?”

Since its inception in 1999, its community members have answered some 6 billion questions. But there’s a price for the self-analysis through DSL lines. Many of the quizzes have lame advertising tie-ins, and there are charges for some in-depth reports. But at a special price of $4.95 for the full report of the “Which Therapist is Right for You” quiz -- no one can say “therapy” isn’t affordable.
