From Times Wire Reports

Reduced wind helped firefighters subdue a 7,300-acre wildfire in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, diminishing the threat to vacation homes and cottages in the tiny community of Nutrioso in eastern Arizona, fire officials said.

Residents had their belongings packed and 25 firetrucks were stationed around the edges of the community, but the wildfire appeared to be headed away.
